Campus safety is the biggest priority we have. We have 24/7 coverage of our campus by campus security guards. And we’re continuously focusing on training and doing drills just to have our campus population, students and associates and visitors, prepared for any emergency, whether it be weather related or a threat to our campus.
Students are issued a photo I.D. upon arrival. All staff and associates and faculty have IDs, as well. You need them to get into many buildings, and you need them to do things like eat in the dining hall.
There are also blue phones all over campus that they can call security at any time and ask for an escort. We also have a mobile app that has an alarm button where if you are worried about something, you press that and it gives you the location and someone will come to make sure you are okay.
At Post University, student success is paramount to what we do. We want our students to be able to concentrate on their education and enjoy the campus life and all of the activities that go around that without having to worry about things like being safe. So we prioritize campus safety to provide that environment for them to succeed in.
