We play in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, which is a conference that comprises five states: Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. We are NCAA Division II. We have 22 NCAA sports. We have an esports squad and a cheer squad. So those 24 teams comprise and make up approximately 500 student athletes on our campus.
We have won ten CACC conference championships over the past five years. We’ve been to 14 NCAA regionals, and our soccer team, two of the last three years, have appeared in the NCAA Sweet 16.
I think we try to go with a holistic approach, you know, in the classroom, on the respective playing field, and also out into the community. So we really appreciate a well-rounded student athlete, you know. For instance, over the past ten semesters, we’ve carried above a 3.0 GPA as a department. The last few years, we’ve also had Players of the Year in our conference, Rookies of the Year in our conference. So we’ve been extremely competitive on the field and in the classroom.
Our esports coaches and our staff, they’ve done a tremendous job. We have a wonderful sports lab that has all the bells and whistles that you can imagine. We actually just hosted an esports event where I believe a dozen to two dozen other schools came to our campus. They actually won some awards in their conference. They compete in the ECAC as an associate member, and we’ve had a tremendous first couple of years with esports. So we look forward to seeing that program grow.
So if you want to balance your education with athletics and have a great experience, Post University is certainly a place I would consider, especially, you know, nowadays with what we have with small classrooms and things of that nature, to give you the opportunity to really get a thorough understanding of your degree.
You’re just not going to be a number here. When we say we make it personal at Post, we truly do that. The instructors are going to know your names, coaches are going to know who you are, coaches from other sports are going to know who you are. So you’re going to feel like a family member here if you attend Post.
